Hello Avatar fans, Airspeed Prime with some Comic news amid all this Korra stuff. These comics are just as important as the show and will really add to why the world is as it is in Korra.

From Comic Alliance’s interview with Gene Yang we have not only the release date for Part 3 but also the Cover Art in full colour and unhindered by the title and logos.

The Promise Part 3 will release September 26th in Comic Book stores and we assume about 2 weeks after that in regular book stores and Amazon.

Here is the cover art

The Interview itself does not really reveal anything new, as we have heard most of it in previous interviews with Gene Yang.

That leaves us with knowing exactly when the 2 remaining parts come out

Part 2 is out May 30th in Comic Stores and June 12th elsewhere

Part 3 is out September 26th in Comic Stores and about 2 weeks later elsewhere.

I think in part three Aang will get Zuko and The Earth KIng to sit down he will make it clear niether will die and niether country will lose their land not involved with the mixed blood lands of the fire nation colonys. How Aang will get them to sit down I don’t know. Zuko to me used the Earth Kings energy against him about only providing for your people; the Earth King is the problem. Aang shouldn’t kill him because an Earth King who wants the whole world might take his seat and Aang and friends will have a new Earth King to kill. Aang being the Avatar can’t assume power of the Earth Kingdom to call piece, niether can Toph or another of Aangs Earth Kingdom friend being to young to know how to do the job, Iroh can’t be Earth King being brother of Ozia. I think Aang should kill the Earth King him being greedy and put Bomi or somone else like him not 112 in power. This will prevent the Earth Kingdom from uprising to much. I don’t see Earth Kingdomers calling Aang evil.

I think Zuko and the Earth king will both talk it out, hopefully they will make the land for two, for all of the nations, treated evenly. I hate seeing my favorite character, Zuko, be torched in this. And right when every thing gets really stressed out for him, when even his own father rejects him, all of a sudden Mei dumps him! He’s just going though a stress time, but no matter what he wants to put his people first, and so does the earth king!
Killing won’t solve anything, nether will violence. The Earth king and Zuko will find a way to make both of they’re nations happy!
    I’m sure of it!
I can’t wait to get my hands on part three!
