The Cabbage Merchant posted on the forum topic New Details on A:TLK – Post News and Information Here in the group
Avatar The Legend of Korra: 1 year, 6 months agoI third Hook, amazing movie. It’s fairly like Avatar in that Rufio isn’t one of the best parts, he’s a great part to a great whole. When I first got into Avatar I knew I recognized his voice (we do watch Hook here a couple times a year) and was surprised and pleased to find [...]

The Cabbage Merchant commented on the blog post Avatar The Last Airbender Soundtrack, Possible release ! 1 year, 6 months ago
So glad I signed that when it was new. Wonderful to hear that we have a glimmer of hope to add that amazing mix to our copies of the enchanting movie soundtrack. I listen to that in my car most days. It’s time to trade up for the cartoon track!

The Cabbage Merchant commented on the blog post M. Night Shyamalan not doing The Last Airbender 2 Movie Anytime soon 1 year, 6 months ago
Just as Zuko’s main theme is redemption (by choice, specifically), I strongly wish to see Night redeem his love of the series and finish his movies. I believe he can do it with the next two movies and I await the outcome with great anticipation.

The Cabbage Merchant posted on the forum topic Tea in the group
Sokkas Randomness: 1 year, 7 months agoMy first experience with coffee was at my mom’s college in Canada. Probably 16 or so and I burned myself. Being the patient guy I am, I stuck it in a corner and went back to my room. Came back an hour later and of course it was cold and disgusting. Tea… tea depends. If [...]

The Cabbage Merchant posted on the forum topic If you could be a bender, what element would you bend? in the group
Avatar World: 1 year, 8 months agoIt’s funny… my element is actually metal… Since reading Musashi Miyamoto’s Book of Five Rings I have held a deep interest in the water philosophy. Before that even, I have always loved water types in the Pokemon series of games and have never forgotten the famous quotation by Lao Tzu – “Nothing in the world [...]

The Cabbage Merchant commented on the blog post Dee Bradley Baker Talks Avatar The Legend Of Korra 1 year, 8 months ago
I’d give a lot to do animal voices on this show. I just don’t have the “acting” down with the sound copying. Not like this guy. He’s a decent Frank Welker when it comes to animals, though no one will beat the best! Yay, Frank!

The Cabbage Merchant commented on the blog post Review of Collectors Edition of Avatar The Last Airbender Book 1:Water 1 year, 8 months ago
I did receive this set over the summer just before seeing the live action movie in theaters. It is a beautiful piece of artwork that sits in my bookcase, not amid my DVDs as it really just needs to be among books. The mini artbook is great but I canNOT recommend the full version enough. [...]

Avatar The Legend of Korra: 1 year, 9 months ago@hemynight
Yeah, I wouldn’t mind getting DeSena back as some background character. Maybe some club host or comedian that the new group walks by and watches for a minute. The haiku short was all kinds of fun. -

The Cabbage Merchant commented on the blog post First 3 Recordings of Avatar The Legend of Korra Completed, Interview with Andrea Romano (Voice Director) 1 year, 9 months ago
I can tell you one thing about this news. If Andrea Romano is in on the VAing again, it’s going to be up to par with the old series. At least. Andrea has been directing for voice actors for longer than some of us have been alive and I can’t think of anything she has [...]

In reply to: O.G. Sokka posted on the forum topic New Character Discussion in the group Avatar The Legend of Korra: I personally I am looking forward to more “spirit” characters, I really miss Koh and Hei Bai and even Wan Shi […] ViewOh my gosh! Now it makes sense! I’ve been repeating the name Wan Shi Tong all stinking day and couldn’t remember if it was from the Chinese Prince of Tennis, Armor Heroes, or some random show I’ve watched in the past. NOW I can rest easy tonight. A thousand thanks to OG!

Avatar The Last Airbender Fan Art: 1 year, 9 months agoWait, and you drew this? Wow! I can trace stuff… but that’s about it, really. Great examples of one of my favorite characters from the series. I truly hope they can get a character as lovable as Toph in the next show.

In reply to: admin posted on the forum topic Hey! in the group Introduce Yourself: @trajan @ophyjgjhnfn What are the views paintings? it does look pretty cool. ViewThe 36 Views of Mount Fuji is a series of paintings based on the principle that you could see Mount Fuji from just about everywhere in Japan. Whether you actually could or not. It’s the beginning of the trend of seeing it outside many windows in a Japanese cartoon or comic. Or an American version.
Incidentally, there is a French version where…[Read more]

Avatar The Last Airbender Fan Art: 1 year, 9 months agoI must say, I do like the choice to leave detail for pupils within the glowing eyes. It adds a more… mm… controlled, look to Aang’s Avatar state. As if he’s been using it for years now and isn’t just running on automatic.

The Cabbage Merchant commented on the blog post Some Sweet Avatar The Last Airbender Costume Items 1 year, 9 months ago
Wow! Now I need to make a Fire Nation soldier for Halloween. I had thought to do an Earth Bender so I could make a wire mesh/papier mache rock suit and do some creative bending filming but… I don’t know where to find designs! Hehe. All of my costumes thus far have been buying standard [...]

The Cabbage Merchant posted on the forum topic I'm The Cabbage Merchant. And I like Cabbages in the group
Introduce Yourself: 1 year, 9 months agoThe title is Titanomachia. People were talking about the Thor movie being made by Marvel and Disney’s Hercules was on. I always loved the goofy, monster Titans from that movie. I decided to add a group of characters to my superhero novels based upon the Titans from Greek mythology. It’s not a great book, admittedly. It’s [...]
