Roku is one of the most profund and wise characters on the show.
I love the episode when he tells the story of the beggining of the war. I really wanted to kill Sozin in the end of it….

I’ve heard many times that the Avatar can not have family (wife/husband, kids, etc).
But both Roku and Aang had family so… is that information wrong or is just something more profund like “love is stronger than anything”?

ATLA does have a lot of wisdom and lessons for LIFE in the show. I also like to add (and this was probably the lesson that really got into me) what ATLA says about destiny. In “The Fortuneteller” (episode 104) we see how our destiny is crossed but we can always change it. But this [...]
