Korra Book 4 Balance Art Book Cover and Date

Amazon Uk with the scoop this time round. Thanks to them we now have the date and cover for The Legend Of Korra Book 4 Balance Art Of The Animated Series .

Book4ArtBook

Amazon have the release date down as September 15th 2015 which is a Tuesday, so we know this is not the initial release, but rather the mass market release date. This means that the comic store release date will be September 2nd which is a Wednesday as comic stores usually release these books 13 days before the mass market release.

As for the cover, it works for me, hard to know if this is the confirmed cover or just a placeholder, but I like this image as the cover for Book 4. It will be great to have the complete set of 4 Korra Art Book and set of 5 Avatar Art Books total including the ATLA book.

As of now this is the piece of Korra Merchandise with the most far off release date. Of course September will also be the month when the new Avatar Comic series Smoke and Shadow will begin. So we do have a decent schedule of releases coming up in the next few months.

January 21st 2015 – Book 3 Change Art Book
February 11th 2015 – The Rift Hardcover
March 10th 2015 – Book 4 Balance DVD/Blu Ray
May 2nd 2015 – Toph and Ty Lee Free Comic for Free Comic Book Day
June 23rd 2015 – Avatar Legacy
August 4th 2015 (Possibly out July 22nd 2015) – ATLA Poster Collection
September 2nd 2015 – Book 4 Balance Art Book
September 23rd 2015 – Smoke and Shadow Part 1
December 16th 2015 – Smoke and Shadow Part 2

I think this line up is pretty impressive given that we will see no new Avatar on tv next year. My only hope in terms of other stuff that will be announced is that given that next year is the 10th anniversary of the beginning of ATLA that they would rerelease  it on DVD and Blu Ray in better quality than the original release.

Thoughts on the Book 4 Art Book and the current release schedule for next year?

The Book 4 DVD/Blu-Ray has been announced? Didn’t even know that.

Yeah, I was just thinking about how next year is the 10th anniversary of the series the other day. It’d be really neat if they re-released the original series in Blu-Ray… with subtitles!

Considering the tenth anniversary is on February 21st it is unlikely the will release something for it that hasn’t been announced already. They could release after but then it would just be the year and not the date or month. Or because it would be a re-release it may not be announced as soon. That is the one thing of ATLA merch I want the most because the DVD quality is worse for ATLA than other DVD quality. I watch it sometimes on nicktoons when I am at someone-else’s house and the TV quality is great, if only they would put that on disks.

Smoke and Shadow part 3 can be released in March 2016 since the waiting period between each part is almost three months.

If they do re-release on DVD/Bluray I hope they add those comments as an option like they do sometimes on Nicktoons. That’d be a fun plus

The schedule of Avatar releases seems good. Actually, I wasn’t expecting this many releases to come in succession initially.
