@airspeed good point re the 10%, as I’m not sure what international laws are, I do know in New Zealand, that if it’s a voluntary donation then the site is fine, due to it being a donation and not a tax per say
I think on some of the other international sites I’ve belonged on, they do this to… again, it’s voluntary and it’s a donation, and it’s up to the individual to choose to do it, though never thought if this is legal or not?….

@admin – I’m thinking that the only copywrite issues might be in fan art work that is sold, i.e. ATLA/TLK images that are ripped off the site and used or corporated within the art work… it can be a hairy one, and not sure what the legalities are of this, sorry, didn’t think about that at the time… I know it’s ok to trade as no money was made or exchanged but actually selling, I know that rules are more strict… so maybe again we need to look how other international sites work?
