One thing in A:TLA that I would’ve liked to see is Zuko getting to make lightning. I guess it’s an unresolved plot point since we don’t know if he ever gets to.

Iroh’s spirit world journey that you mentioned is one that I also really wish they would’ve explained.

Not really unresolved plot points, but some things that I would’ve liked to find out about is how would the air benders come back into existence? And the dragons? And what about any sort of revolt from the fire nation armies about ending the war? Or the other nations wanting revenge from the fire nation for the devastation they caused? This is stuff that could’ve been explored had a 4th season been made along with Ursa’s fate as you mentioned.

Again, not unresolved plotpoints, but seeing recurrences of some of the minor characters like Chong or Guru Patik would’ve been nice too.

In the episode where Iroh tries to teach Zuko to make lightning, he says something pretty close to “Only a select few firebenders can create lightning.” That would lead me to believe that it’s not just restricted to the Fire Nation Royal Family, but just that they are probably some of the most powerful firebenders that exist and there are probably other firebenders who could create lightning.

That’s my view of it anyways.

Thats not unresolved, Zhao hired the Pirates from The Waterbending Scroll to blow up the ship in his assassination attempt in 118(i think it was 118) its why Zuko was pretending to be a guard on Zhaos ship.

THe Crew ,Zhao took control of his men to help the invasion of the northern water tribe.

One thing that’s kind of un-resolved is Aangs first classmates in the Firenation, do they go on to be more peaceful and happy or are they pushed down by oppressive teachers?

As far as creating lightning I would have to be with Tkemert20, It seems like creating lightning is a question of skill rather than being born with the ability although that’s never been confirmed.

Only problem with the poisoned theory which is very good ,is that Azulon gave Ozai the Birthright with his dying breath, despite refusing earlier and if he was poisoned he would suspect Ozai from earlier and not give him the birthright.

I think its only Zukos fathers side of the royal family that are Firebenders. She could be a firebender but it is not hinted at at all.
