@aangfan – Katara wasn’t happy with blood bending, though she did it, and also used it in a rage/revengeful moment…. so am thinking that if Emotion bending was possible, then the bender doing such a thing, probably doesn’t have issues doing it…. I think I would have issues being able to do this in normal circumstances, but unless I’m in a situation that needs me to bend someone else’s emotion if I was able to, then I probably would use it…
@liquifator – yup the chemical and electrical impulses are minute for sure, however, they are controllable – folk use drugs to change their moods, so I can’t see how someone with superior water bending abilities have difficulty in bending emotions – it certainly would be a freaky gift indeed… or would that be a curse?….
@tracycruze – I don’t like the idea of rating Fanfiction at all too… I own a bookstore and have learnt that what one person considers to be great literature, another considers to be total tripe! I’ve read some really amazing Fanfiction on deviantart and love even the basic storylines… I appreciate that the fan has taken some time out of their life and created something dear to them to share with others, I think it’s awesome and encourage folk to do this. sure there are some stories that just don’t do anything for me, though I have without a doubt do it for someone else…. So I hope fans just keep on sharing – I’ve seen fans start of quiet shakily but have grown into their writing styles and love reading what they have offered….
Just another crazy bending thought…. we saw Aang energy bend Ozai – but what if there was someone like sparky sparky boom guy aka combustion man, who could just suck all the energy out of a bender, rendering them weak, paralysed or even to a point of collapsing… similar to say Ti Lee’s Chi blocking, except without having to touch the individual, that they could some how do this telepathically like… or from a distance…
