I saw this one on dA today. IMO this is one of the best fanarts.

Excellent pic!

BTW I’m currently working on getting the images to display better in the forums as well as have a more natural way for fan artitsts to display their work, i’ll keep all the Mods posted on the status of that, it’ll probably be the last thing until the community will launch into the big time!

I must say, I do like the choice to leave detail for pupils within the glowing eyes. It adds a more… mm… controlled, look to Aang’s Avatar state. As if he’s been using it for years now and isn’t just running on automatic.

Just one problem he looks a bit older in that picture and Aang has mastered the Avatar State and if you master the Avatar State the glow just flashes on and off as you enters it, so the glow staying on is not completely accurate. But other than that absolutely amazing.

@airspeed Lol u just have to ruin it by being overly technical don’t ya?? Lol jus messin but yea that is true…but the focus of the art is purely awesome…I always love the intensity of Aang in the Avatar state and that pic captures it well.

Yeah, it makes it looks better having the Glow on, But Accuracy is important too, if that happened in the Show there would be complaints(From me ,LOL)

yeah but you have to remember there has been some fan art that is just plain weird that looks nothing like the character but this one I like because its so detailed.
