hello everyone! I’ve got a fanfic idea which I think rather good. I’ll just give some basic stuff and you tell me should I write it down or not.

-The events will take place about 15 years after the events of TLA in the Repbulic City. It has already formed, with a normal number of citizens, and attracting even more immigrants to come.
-The story will concern Lin’s mysterious father.
-It’s going to be the Duke-but not as everyone remembers him. The Duke and Pipsqueak never rejoined the freedom fighters, but ended up in Republic City. They dived deep in the newborn city’s criminal underground, and emerged as a well-known illegal duo. The Duke is now a major criminal figure, known also under the alias of The Great Combinator. He is partly a parody on O’Henry’s Jeff Peters, creating brilliant legal or semi-legal machinations to make Lots of Money out of Just Money, which he calls ‘combinations’. brilliant as his plots are, they fail quite often (always due to “unforseen circumstances”), leaving the Duke without a single yuan. Then comes the time for illegal (but none the less brilliant) machinations to get Just Money to start another combination.
And Pipsqueak? Pipsqueak is Duke’s bodyguard, mostly busy effectively knocking out unwelcome visitors.
-The story is going to focus on Toph-the young and ambitious Toph. It is also going to show her adult personality and her real attitude towards the metalbending police force. it may surprise some of you-but my opinion is that Toph created the police force mainly to have lots of people to boss around, and I doubt that she ever cared more for the law than when she was a kid.
-Random details: The Dark One will be Toph’s Captain, known as Captain Dark; Duke will appear as a very skilled swordsman, using a self-developed style he calls “the fan technique”; The freedom Fighters ended up no good-under the lead of Smellerbee (who DEFINETELY stopped looking like a boy), they became a bandit gang, robbing and killing anyone who dared to go through their forest.
