Check out a pretty sweet video of what looks to be our first look at Korra in combat, looks like Korra is pretty acrobatic. Actually looks kind of like Zuko’s fighting style.
Taken off of the blog of an artist / animator from the original Avatar series, so chances are this is legit:

i want to know if this is going to take a while to air. i was a major fan ff the last airbender. but now i thought that the new series was about aang and zuko rebuilding the nations that ozai destroyed. And i thought they would run into some problems, like people trying to take over just like ozai. and different people that want to be all powerful like ozai, azula, azulon, and admiral joah.

I know that, but the thing is, if it connects the two what characters should it link to? I know aang and katara are in it. but will toph, sokka, zuko, or iroh be in it?

There’s been little confirmation but there’s reason to believe there will be, at least eventually, connections to each character of Team Avatar in Legend of Korra…I wld think there will b offspring frm each character and/or an episode devoted to what happened to them and their influence into Korras time.

Looks cool didn’t look like there was a lot of bending. Maybe korra will have to hide her bending from the anti-benders like the Gang had to do sometimes to protect their identities because they didn’t want to be caught or stand out.

characters……its okay. We don’t mind seeing flash backs and what
happened between aang and katara, what happened to zokka and zuki.
What happens to zukos father and his sister….too i am also

I didnt see ANY bending and its said that she already knows earthbending and firebending too because she is a teenager. She has to learn airbending from Aang’s son Tenzin

so cool!!! truth is im not an avatar super fan im just your avrage kind of a fan and when i told my sister about legend of korra she was exited about that although she already heard roumours about the new series she had gone on about the new series for some time it seems i am pretty glad myself thier doing another avatar series this combat scene also looks pretty good thanks for the little peek into legend of korra cant wiat to see what this scene will look like when the show comes out

i really have high hopes for this series mostly because of the last airbender, ciz’ it was just so good, maybe even better than the “star wars: the clone wars” series i also love so much! and another weird thing, i normally don’t like love and kissy-kissy stuff, but with aang and katara, it seems different somehow, i don’t know why, but it is. same with sokka and suki, although not as much, and same with zuko and mai, though also not as much. i also have especially high hopes for the comic book stories picking off where the last airbender left off. now if only i could read those comic books now……………

another thing i forgot to mention, it IS possible for katara, zuko, toph, mai, and the other members of team avatar besides aang to still be alive, cuz’ people in the avatar world usually live over a century, sometimes 2 centuries (and not just avatars like everyone thinks!). so, i especially hope katara will be in the series, and everyone else i said, cuz’ it IS very possible.

I know people in the Avatar world live a long time but think about it they just had some of the busiest months in their lives, they travelled everyday, trained everyday, fought for their lives nearly every day, all this wear and tear had to have had an impact on how long they lived.

One or two MAY still be alive but being the Voice director she knows the full script for the episodes, 3 done at that time, so don;t get your hopes up for them still being alive
