Fan Art Contest Results
Airspeed Prime here to tell you the results of the recent fan art contest that we ran on the site. Just over a month ago the contest went up with the aim to find a new piece of art to become the avatar image of the fan art forum, the theme was Aang and Korra as they appear in their respective shows, to show that the fan art section is about everything Avatar out so far. It all went down in this thread,
The prize was that the winning piece becomes the Fan Art sections group image and the artist would get 5000 community points.
The contest ended a week ago and we get 4 great submissions in, over the last week the staff of this site, moderators and admins voted for their favourite. The results are now in so in reverse order from 4th to 1st Place.
Note/ Contestants were allowed to submit 2 pieces if they wanted to.

This piece of art will now become the new group image for the Fan Art section. Each vote praised it for it suiting that role so well, bright, nice design and a unique style. A perfect image for the fan art section.
Closing Comments
Well done to everyone involved, while I would have loved to see a lot more pieces submitted, this was our first Fan Art contest. There will be more in the future and they may become a regular thing. Prizes will be community points, which help up your rank on the site and all pieces submitted will be showcased in a post like this.
In this case points awarded are as such
Mariah – 5000 Points 1st Place
since she also came second  that bumps up our joint third placers Jadely and Pyro_Monkey to second
Jadely and Pyro_Monkey – 2000 Points each.

I was rooting for that one to win it is very great while i perfer pencil and paper that was very amazing good job every one they were all wonderful.

Great submissions to those who participated.
I can not remember if I knew about this or not since I have not been on much since my net is out at home and I have been dealing with much off line. i hope to participate in the next one.
