Dante Basco (Zuko) To play a Character in The Legend of Korra

Breaking News! Dante Basco the well loved voice behind Zuko in Avatar the Last Airbender (He was also Rufio in Hook) has just announced in his blog that he will be playing a role or character in the upcoming series Avatar The Legend of Korra. Details on his character have not yet been released. He mentions his excitement at being back with original members of the cast, including series creators (Mike and Bryan), although Mae Whitman (Voice of Katara) was not there.
Dante Basco is confirmed to be playing an (as of yet) unknown character in the upcoming Avatar Series, Avatar The Legend of Korra
Very exciting news for Airbender fans, the voice of many peoples favorite Avatar character is back in Action!

Maybe he voiced the son of Zuko and Mai? That would be cool. The only way we’ll know for sure is when the show finally comes out. I can’t wait to watch it!

Yeah I though it would be flashbacks as well, and the way he worded it, it seemed like this is a new character. In the interview we’ll try and find out for sure.

…Dante has been known to do voices for characters well under his own age lol…i.e. that new show Zevo 3…and can’t think of any others at the moment lol…but I believe there were others

Dante has an amazing voice and vocal range so would think that it probably is more than likely to be both flashbacks and new character… but who so can’t wait to find out!!!! rushes over to forum link that has the Dante questions foaming… opps I mean forming… lol….

Maybe the whole crew/voice actors of Avatar:TLA can play one character in the series even if it a secondary character. That would be nice.

Did you know he wanted to play “Zuko” in the movie? Egads, I love that guy’s voice. I think he could have pulled it off, I mean, even watching him on the bonuses when he’d talk Zuko, his expression would change, he became Zuko.

I love his voice!!! glad he came back so i can here his voice again. Oh and i think he would of played a great zuko in the movie
