Book 2 dubs starting, 5 new book 2 images.

This is actually a very interesting piece of news, in that it is not really the images that are the important thing here. It is where they came from.

Thanks to our friends over at the Brazilian Avatar fansite Mundo Avatar for this news.

The spanish/latin american dub of The Legend Of Korra Book 2 has begun. Many of the spanish voice actors posted images of them recording with book 2 images in the background. As I said the images while interesting are not as important as what the start of the dubbing process means. That being, that Book 2 has to be more or less finished in terms of Animation. As far as I know dubbing is always done over completed animation as they have to be careful to match the new language dialogue over the mouth movements.

This is an excellent sign that Book 2 cannot be too far off now, we know it is coming this year, but now I am very much leaning towards the show coming out sooner rather than later in the year.

Now here are the 5 images I mentioned.

book 2 dub 1

book 2 dub 2

book 2 dub 3

Bolin who appears to be pulling a cart along with Desna and Eska inside.

book 2 dub 4

You can just about make out in the corner an image of Tonraq or Unalaq, I think, but it is hard to make out.

book 2 dub 5

Brothers together, Tenzin and Bumi

not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 images from book 2 at once, things may be starting to get better 🙂

though, even though there are quite a few images, we still only have the spirit clips…

    Water-Tribe Heart Reply:

lol yeah its exciting to get the pictures (kinda lol) but it would be even greater to get more clips. (:

just a few weeks ago we had NOTHING. now we have a few appetizers, its only a matter of time before we get the main course, A RELEASE DATE!

and if what you said was true, that DUBS are only recorded over finished product, then it could be anytime now, bryke are just making the finishing touches.

If you google pictures of Tonraq, you see in Book 2 he will have a beard, like you see in that one picture.

    Water-Tribe Heart Reply:

yes but since Tonraq and Unalaq are brothers, and that annoying glare on the picture, its kinda hard to tell ):
