It’s Official! The Track Team will be the Music behind Korra

The Track Team Jeremy Zuckerman, and Benjamin Wynn

The Track Team just announced that they will be the music team behind the forthcoming Avatar The Legend of Korra in the article: The Track Team to Score The Legend of Korra

Pictured Jeremy Zuckerman, and Benjamin Wynn founders of The Track Team and original composers of the Avatar The Last Airbender Soundtrack, will also be composing The Legend of Korra

The Track Team co-founded by Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn were the brilliant minds behind the original soundtrack of Avatar The Last Airbender, (and as I hear it they also did some of the bending sounds). So i’m pretty stoked to hear how the music for the next Avatar series will sound.

In an Interview with Jeremy Zuckerman I had a while back, he mentioned how many of the creators of Avatar we’re being “Thrown into the fire” so to speak, meaning they were on a quest to prove themselves breaking new ground and new territory. Now that they’ve more than proven their skills I wonder how that will influence their work on this new series.

My excitement for this series grows with every bit of information that has been released recently. This duo here… I was a little down when they chose to go with a composer and orchestra for the movie. But really, why wouldn’t they? It’s a movie, not a cartoon. Fortunately, the movies soundtrack is quite pleasing and captures the moods that should exist in this story. Now that we have another piece of the puzzle (more on that in an article later), there is much reason to rejoice. This music didn’t make the series, it was an essential part of a well-played whole. Everything came together perfectly and would, quite frankly, probably fall apart without one or two of the pieces. But… I already said later.

    The Cabbages are pleased.

Well even if the series sucks now, at least it will have awesome music! I’m so glad these guys will be doing the music again.
