There are only 61 episodes (and the unaired Pilot) and all 61 are linked here, either in full or I believe some may just be clips.
If links are not working then just do a google video search of the episode.
But To Support the Show everyone really should make an attempt to get the DVD’s.

I watched avatar the last airbender movie and it was the biggest dissapointment ever!! it was terrible sokka wasnt funny the actors looked they were reading of a placard, introduction to characters was a complete failure. the movie deserves a 3 out of ten. dont watch it. its not worth it. also 3D looked normal except the air temples were pretty good

You are definitively right. The movie was horrible, I watched it. The characters didn’t look at all like in the show (cartoons) except maybe for Aang I guess and Yue… But I mean, Zuko is supposed to have a ponytail or something and a SCAAAAAR! In the movie, he doesn’t even have it! I mean, wasn’t FireLord Ozai supposed to have a long beard and long hair? Well, in the movie he doesn’t. Oh! And Sokka looks like a 25 year-old man, but in the show he’s like around Katara’s age (16-17).
I was REAAAAALLY disappointed. I thought it would be the GREATEST movie ever. But I guess I was wrong. Don’t watch it. (:

I didn’t want to see it because I knew it would suck. I haven’t seen it but I probably only rent it from Red Box. If they made a movie they should have kept it a cartoon movie. M.Night Shmypolon,excuse my spelling,sucks at making movies. At least get actors around the kids’ age. And Zuko doesn’t have a scar. That like not giving Aang an arrow on his head.

i hate the movie the weren’t on point the movement of the water was late when they were bending. then the way the call Aang was so different and irritating, and Zuko’s dad was not even shown tell the 3rd book in the cartoon completely of point and the comet thing was coming in a few months and in the movie it was 3. another thing Azula looks nice in the movie and whats with all the fire nation people being Indian.WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

People – There’s no way anyone could have made a movie six hours long. Yes, the animated version IS superior. But, I consider the movie; an excellent trailer, and introduction, to Aangs purpose and dilemma. I believe Shyamalan is a huge fan of ATLA.

Woah, I fell that I really need to step in here because honestly the amount of hating of the movie is completely unwarranted and then starting up racebending up again.
The Characters and world of Avatar are Asian BASED, the key word being Based. Also The Movie is it’s own separate continuity so we never knew what any of the characters were like to make them realistic, it is based (again) off the main plot of the show but there are different things that happen.
Sure the movie wasn’t as good as it could have been but it by no means deserves the amount of hate that it gets from fans of the show it based off.
I say this every time someone goes off hating on the Movie, but has Avatar The Last Airbender thought us fans nothing, “You need to Open your mind to the Possibilities”
Final thoughts, MNS is also a huge fan of the show and did the best he could on the Movie, the movie has not had any negative impact on the Avatar Fandom ,only positive ones in that it has brought in new fans to the show and created a new continuity that some fans( me included) Enjoy, so why are people who don’t like it trying to ruin it for those that do.

Yea i admit i didnt like the movie nearly as much as i like the show. but COME ON!! when did it advertise in the trailers or previews that it was going to be a flippin COPY of the show? NEVER EVER…. EVER.
people grow up… the effects were amazing.. it still had the entire plot correct which is the most important part.. you people are like graphics whores for the love of god… seriously.. whining because the characters dont look like the cartoons? SORRY ITS HARD TO FIND PEOPLE THAT LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PEOPLE SOMEONE CREATED WITH THEIR IMAGINATION THAT CAN ACT AS WELL!!!! seriously people… stop whining and enjoy and appreciate a piece of art… better yet, if you think you can find better matches to the cartoon people anywhere that can act go ahead and do better!!!!

I had heard of the TV show from a friend who absolutely loved it, he watched every episode with his four year old daughter and bragged about it to me constantly. I kept putting off watching it until the movie came out. I finally decided to give the movie a shot and I liked it. (Again, this is from a fan who hadn’t yet seen the show.) I thought it was a great story and was really excited to start watching the show because of it.
I was not disappointed. I started watching the show on Netflix and couldn’t stop. I fell in love instantly. When I had finished all three books I decided to go back and rewatch the movie. I must say, it wasn’t as good the second time around because of the things that weren’t matching in the show, but I didn’t hate it. Yes, I was annoyed that they pronounced Aang’s and Iroh’s names wrong in the movie, or that the character’s looked nothing like they did in the show, (Except for Yue, she was perfect.) or that important things were left out because of the limited time in a movie, BUT I didn’t hate it simply for the fact that that movie led me to an amazing show that will be one of my favorites forever. I appreciate the movie for that reason and I’m sure other fans who had the same experience as me do too.
Maybe I won’t love the movie or want to watch it over and over, but I will always have a strong appreciation for it. If I hadn’t watched it, I might never have taken my friend’s advice and watched the show. And, if I had never watched the show I would have missed out on an amazing cartoon that I have literally fallen in love with.
So, I thank MNS and everyone else who worked on the movie for introducing me to one of my most beloved and one of the most imaginative worlds on television.

I too liked the cast and can’s wait to see TLA 2 and 3 if they happen, Noah Ringer and Dev Patel as Aang and Zuko were great, Nicola and Jackson as Katara and Sokka while not as good as Noah and Dev were still good choices.
Lets not forget that we have only seen 1/3 of the story there are still 2/3 left to develop the characters.

I sure did, I actually really liked it. I hope 2 and 3 get confirmed because I want to see how some of the Iconic ATLA scenes will look Movie style especially Ba Sing Se and the Final Battle, I know the movie had its problems for me the main one was parts of the script. The sheer amount of HATE and it is really Hate from “fans” of avatar towards the movie and especially MNS, the unfounded accusations of him not knowing anything about Avatar(even seeing the show) are laughable.
People are getting way too worked up about it.

First of all airspeed prime and yes i apologize to you jenna. but to think that you two actually enjoyed this movie is just rediculous. This movie actually angered me to the point of wanting to punch someone in the face. It was a pathetic piece of s#!t as well as the rest of M. Night Shamylans laughable movies, I too like every other Avatar fans Excluding you two had high hopes for this movie when I heard they were comin out with a live version. But I quicky dismissed my joy when I found out who was making it. Believe me I am not just bias against the douchebag because of his inability to produce something more than just usefull as a frisbee. I actually said okay how can he posibly mess up a movie that is already written and laid out for him.
So I went ahead and wasted 7 dollars to go see it excited beacause I am a die hard fan. But he messed up the movie three minutes into it with the introduction of the characters, who the hell is ONG his name is Aang, again and who the crap is general EARO I believe it was IRO the movie correct me if Im wrong was supposed to be the first book. So why the hell was I trying to figure out what was going on. No King Bumi…. He is a key player in the story. Why was the village under control from the fire nation Kioshi, i believe that the reason they were under control was because they couldnt fight back but they were on solid ground in the movie, and Kioshi was a island for the love of god. That must of been why they kept calling it Kioshi Island. Following a cartoon verbatum I understand can be very difficult. But for god sakes he had the damn script written for him already I mean it takes serious skill to mess up when someone already made the movie for you.
I will leave with this final word like I said in the begining this movie by no strech of imagination was worth being declared good…. and I think that for anyone that is a real fan of the show can agree with me on this that the worse parts of the movie was the bending Fire in particular even with the overly exagerted movements required to splash a little puddle throw a pebble or blow a small gust of wind. What was up with the Firebending????? They needed a source of fire to bend? I dont know how many times Zukos uncle explain that firebending came from inside you from your breathing and the sun and is released by the body not by a damn candle.

Plus, I’d like to add to my earlier comment, that I ENJOYED the action sequences in the movie. My favorite parts were honestly, Zuko and Aang fighting together. Zuko as the blue spirit fighting with Aang was such a beautiful representation of the show, I thought that part was perfectly done. Probably (In my opinion) the most perfectly matched part to the show in the entire movie. The effects were great, the choreography in the part was great. I was not disappointed with that scene, I was mesmerized. I also don’t care if anybody disagrees with me, these are all OUR OWN opinions. And, I stick to my earlier statement in my first comment. I will always appreciate this movie for introducing me to an amazing show.

Did you even read what I posted, I seriously don’t think you read past myself and Jenna saying we liked the movie.
Different Continuity is the key thing here.
You said you thought the movie was a live action version of the show, it was never said anywhere that that is what it was, the movie was always touted as a different continuity of the show and to be a summer blockbuster, and it was.
And I hate to say this but I do, guess who was assisting on writing the script, who ultimately signed off on the final script, which is the worst part of the movie, Mike and Bryan. So they are as much to blame for the script.
And You saying that just because we don’t have the same opinion as you is ridiculous is in itself ridiculous, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, just because my opinion on the movie is not pure hate doesn’t mean I am any less of an Avatar fan, does it not show how much more open minded I am that I can like different TAKES on The Avatar World.As opposed to you who is hating on a movie, a movie that was always built up as being a different continuity to the show, for being different to the show.
I think it is shocking to question someone’s fandom just because they have a different opinion to you.
IMHO the only bad thing about the movie is the amount of people who do nothing but complain and hate on the movie, the movie otherwise has been nothing but good for the avatar fandom, introducing people like Tiffany above to the show. Just because you don’t have an open mind don’t put other people down.

im with sweetness here.(jenna from 1/11/11) . i had the same feelings, like i was sooo excited to see the movie becauze im totaly in love with the cartoon, but it upset me just cuz i was so use to the cartoon. but for those who have not seen the cartoon and only had seen the movie..loved it. so that makes me happy because that would motivate them to watch the cartoon! and i think people should experience the adventure of this cartoon, its amazing and it takes me out of this world and puts me in that world, and thats my escape from this stressful unpeacefull world.the movie did a good job on the art but not the acting.and thats all u have to say is “u have to watch the cartoon, its sooo much better”

So the movie and the characters weren’t EXACTLY like the cartoon. I think that’s to be expected. You can’t just sum up nearly 20 full length episodes into less than 2 hours without making alterations. You’re missing the point as to why the movie sucks (I just finished watching it). It’s not just a bad representation of the series, it’s a bad movie period. Writers failed in making plot & character adjustments. Action sequences were VERY poorly choreographed, with pauses in awkward places. Appa was hideous & creepy looking. There was no effort put in to keep the characters from being stiffs (except one deleted scene of celebratory dancing). At times it was hard to track where characters were both on the physical plane and motivationally. There was no flow to the movie and it was choppy. There was no way they could fit all the content we would want to see in the movie, but there could have been more effort to show the lighthearted side of the characters thrown in here and there. btw the only thing I liked in this adaptation is the lack of the water monster.

UGH!!!! I just watched Avatar the last airbender movie and
it was the WORST movie in the history of movies!!!!!!!!! None of
the charactars looked the same, they didn’t include ANYTHING, all
of the names were pronounced TOTALLY wrong, Aang’s arrow looked so
lame, Appa was a creepy looking monster! At the war Aang barly went
into the Avatar State. Hes supposed to be a GIANT OCEAN SPIRT FOR
GOD SAKES!!!!!! I agree with Dave, the plot and writing was
horrible! M.Night Shamalyen (written horribly sorry), is the worst
director in the world. Even if I havent watched every single
episode, I would still hate this movie. The show is so good and is
one of the best in the world and this movie just destroyes how good
it is. I hope that all the people who see this movie will still
watch the show because it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t think it’s the creator’s of the Avatar show had any
I had to stop watching the movie after 20 min. I just
part in making the movie… After researching it, the person who
thought of doing a real live movie was M. Night Shamalan (Worst
movie maker ever).. If someone was to do an Avatar movie, it should
have been Spielberg. I mean M. Night Shamalan really? he should
just stick to horrible horror films he creates.. The Happening,
Lady In The Water, The Village, 6th Sense(not too bad), and

Mike and Bryan only had a minor part in the making of the movie, they assisted on the script basically they just reviewed it, weird given that the only part of the movie that the creators of the show had anything to do with was the worst bit.
M Night Shyamalan did Avatar because he and his family are huge fans of the Show, He didn’t ruin anything he is a good director just not a good script writer, The movie has only been good for The Avatar Fandom in that it has brought in new fans of the show and made a new Avatar continuity that some fans (me included) really like.
I am really getting sick of telling people something that is so obvious, The Movie is a different Continuity( a new version that is based off the same basic story of the Show)

He rushed the scenes and it look like it happened in a week. but one thing i know the haters will not stop hating cause it didn’t come out the way the fan base of avatar series thought it will cause I for one was waiting for the action and the was barely any especially the end for the water monster. A movie of a series is supposed to complement the series like the way twilight does and the directer shouldn’t have written his own script should have stuck to the original.

Not when its a different continuity, the best example I can come up with is the Transformers movies (Bay ones) they are a different continuity based on the same story that being Transformers G1 and the 1986 animated movie, NO ONE compares the bay movies to Transformers G1 so I don’t see why everyone absolutely hates MNS and TLA because it is not an exact copy.

Dave, you are so right. Everything you’ve said was wrong with the movie I agree with. And yes it’s very hard to fit a full season into one film. However, I have to say, if it was done correctly important key elements to the story could have been put into the film. Also, where was the goofiness of series. It’s one of the things that made it so enjoyable. I hate that M. Night Changed the pronunciation of Aang’s name. The water tribe people were eskimo’s but in the movie they were white. Zuko was clearly asian, and while people of indian descent are clearly asian they aren’t the type of asian that would have a name like Firelord Ozai or Ozula.
Also, I have to say that it took every thing in me to watch this abortion. after 10 – 20 minutes I wanted to get a gun and shoot myself in the face. or gauge out my eyes. the film was just awful. And what’s worse M. Night is set to direct the sequel. For heaven’s sake, STOP THINKING YOU’RE A GREAT SCREENWRITER AND DO WHAT ELTON JOHN DID DECADES AGO AND GET A COLLABORATOR. I don’t know if it’ll make you great but it can’t make you any worse than you already are.

M Night Shymalan has seen Avatar The Last Airbender and is a huge fan, so much so that he wrote a forward in the Avatar Art Book and has pictures from the show on his walls.
The name pronunciation was on purpose, I personally don’t get why it was changed but it doesn’t really affect me that much. The Movie is a different continuity so again it doesn’t really matter that much

I think you people ae looking beyond the point sure the movie wasnt like the show but im not so sure it was ment to be. Every ones expectations were very high. You have to remember that the cartoon version is that a cartoon. something smaller kids can watch maybe the movie version was ment to be for a somewhat more mature audience. dont get me wrong it wasnt close to perfect. it had its flaws i didnt like how it skipped through alot of important people and some of the other episodes. but over all. watching it without any bias it wasnt that bad.

In the episode “The Eclipse” Ozai said she was bannised for treason. So she probably alive. I think we’re probably find out what happened in the new series “The Legend of Korra”. At the end of the series Zuko asked Ozai “Where is my mother?” And Ozai didn’t say anything.

@Dakota I do not think that is very likely. Keep in mind, “The Legend of Korra” is an entirely new series. I don’t imagine that neither Zuko nor Ursa will be of much of any plot significance.

Sorta sucks that legend of korra is about a girl. Not sexist or anything> Just saying that there are alot more guy veiwers than girls, this’ll throw alot of them off. yeah, i dont see a problem with a female Avatar. Look at ATLA Katara is nearly as main a character as Aang, only difference here is that its a girls name in the title. i think it will be great to see being the Avatar from a female view.

I’m 29 years old and It has been been one of my great pleasures following Aang on his journey. I love this show so much. Nickelodeon should really cut there losses though and not make another avatar live action movie. I wanted to put it out there so they have some insite from their fan base. Reunite the cast and make a full length animated feature film with out M. Night and see how much better it dose. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP CALLING HIM UNG! Did M. Night even watch the cartoon at all before he made that mess?

I am 21 and this is my favorite show of all time. I have seen the episodes so many times, but I still enjoy re-living the story again and again. A few of the reasons I think the show is so great:
The complexity of the characters. For a show made for children, the characters are surprisingly believable. Iroh and Zuko are a masterpiece — far from being black vs. white, bad-for-the-sake-of-being-bad-villains, the story of these two became possibly the most remarkable thing about the show.
The world created is a convincing and balanced meld of science and magic, realism and fantasy. For a show like this, I find myself saying “ya, like that could happen!” comparatively few times (Sakka taking out a whole line of fire nation blimps with one damaged craft being a notable exception!). The creators made up rules for their world and followed them. Water for bending being condensed from water vapor in the air, Toph suddenly realizing that metal is just a stubborn form of earth, bloodbending, and many other moments show the wonderful attention to detail.
Attention to detail in the animation — the show is a work of art!
Sophistication– Ok, so not all of the dialogue is completely convincing. But never did the show even once sink to the level of bathroom humor or encourage immaturity. The show teaches lessons in a convincing manner, as part of the story, without beating you over the head with “the moral of the story” like a kindergarten sunday-school lesson.

So happy i could finally watch this show all the way through, from start, all the way to finish.
its much different, when you spend an entire week off, watching every single episode in ALL of your free time.
You get so attached, and so connected with all of the characters, that you just dont want it too end.
You get too know them, feel what they feel, know what they are going to do, and what is going through the back of their minds, even though the show doesn’t give that information too you.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is OFFICIALLY one the greatest shows ever created, and this comes from an 18yo.
It’s sad to see them all, seeing as i have become so well attached to ever single person, even silly MoMo.
I have a feeling im going to be quite sad for the next few days, as i am whenever my favorite t.v. shows leave me forever.
Nick crew, you have outdone yourself in EVERY aspect, in emotion, depth of personalities, the connection from all the seasons, and even at the play about that stupid Cabbage farmer, who popped up EVERYWHERE.

I must say, the show (which I know have watched every single episode of) is an amazing piece of art. The illustrations are brilliant. As well, the story is the best I’ve seen in a while. I will agree, the movie is absolutely nothing like the show. The names are pronounced incorrectly, which can be forgiven. However, the story is near entirely off. None of the characters even have their normal quirks in the movie.
However, being that I’ve watched the movie first, I had an open mind. The movie, alone, is a decent piece of work. I would like to see the sequential books made as well. Lastly, if the movie had never been made, I must admit, I never would have thought about watching the cartoon. I admittedly, had prejudged the cartoon based on what I’ve seen of all the other new cartoons. Boy, was I wrong. This is an amazing show that competes with the best of them. I haven’t seen a show this good sine Dragon Ball and the original Pokemon. Avatar: The Last Airbender, no doubt, competes with them in my heart as one of the greatest animated series of all time. GOOD JOB, and I now feel like I should no longer hold prejudicial thoughts over cartoon series any more.

It would have been okay if they made only a few differances but they made so many it was like it wasent evan the same thing it was boring, they got the characters completly wrong, and evan the story line wasent the same. It turned out to be a terrable movie unlike Diary of a wimpy kid it turned out to be great.

I’m a big fan of he series and I’ve seen the film and I like it. The fx are great and all in all it kept to the original story. I just would have liked it to be longer so that the story would have been better developed and each scene or event would have been expanded on. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think the film deserves some credit.

I watched the movie and omfg it sucked so bad I almost destroyed my tv . That is the worst movie I have seen. If the director is realy a fan he wouldn’t have f u c k e d this movie up so bad. i hated the movie also zuko’s uncle had freakin’ dreads and they never showed any of the funny parts like penguine sleding and the avatar world and him meeting all the people that help him try to defeat the fire nation the first time, plus there was no suki and appa looked completely creepy when he’s supposed to be soft and cuddly

I just finished watching the all of the episodes again. I remember I used to watch Avatar when I was growing up and I loved it. Gosh, I wish there were more episodes(: I hope Legend of Korra wont be a disappointment….I really want this series to stay awesome.

I am a HUGE fan of the cartoon series. As for the movie, I am neither Asian or Caucasion, but geez! Would it have hurt for them to find Asian actors/actresses? It’s CLEAR in the cartoon, that all of the characters were of Asian descent and I think they should have at least stayed true to that! For all you who found the movie to be great and think the rest of us are overreaching when it comes to the characters being portrayed ACCURATELY, something must be wrong with you and it shows that you are willing to settle for anything Hollywood or society throws your way. I frankly do not think a movie version should be made because its too much to throw in unless they choose to go the Harry Potter franchise route.
We as fans should be disgusted that MNS threw this garbage at us and expected us to like it. Ugh… If you are not going to do it right, then dont do it at all!

I am actually more disgusted with the fans that do nothing but complain about the movie and have have nothing good to say about it.
Since the movie is a separate continuity, it means that the Characters are different and pretty much don’t have to be the same as in the show, MNS took some of the characters a slightly different way while keeping the general idea of the character. So people complaining about the character portrayal are completely off target since the movie was always billed as a different continuity, so going into the movie expecting a copy of the show live action style were looking at the movie the wrong way. Complaining about the movie for what is is not and not for what it is.
I admit as a technical movie , some of the acting was not great and the script was also not good. But people constantly complaining about accuracy to the show were going to be disappointed no matter what the movie was like or who directed it.
Also can we please keep these comments to discussing the actual topic of this post which is about the Show.
There is a movie section on the forum for those who want to discuss the movie.

Well why not support the show and buy the DVD boxsets, that way you have the episodes to watch whenever and don’t have to worry about finding them online. I know I got the dvd’s the second I saw them.
I agree that it is unfair that it is made available only to USA, but If you enjoy the show, the DVD’s are the way to go.

You can get the 3 seasons online for fairly cheap, Amazon have some good prices.
If not Just google video search the name of the episode and you will get a load of results.
It seems there are no many spaniards around but just in case someone could use this info I will give the link to the Nickelodeon Spain page where you can watch the whole series of Avatar the Last Airbender:

Why does almost half the links( quite a few in books 2 and 3) lead me to a black screen with a duration of 3 seconds? Still, watching half the episodes is better then 6. As of my comments on the movie, I thought it was ok. They did do some of the characters right, but I was annoyed at Aang becoming Oang. Also, the plot is changed, and I would have preferred an animated movie, that is about a separate adventure(forward or backward in time ?). In fact, an animated movie on avatars before Aang would have been pretty cool, with Roku and Keyoshi, and the others.

I just finished watching all the episodes again and I’m at the stage between totally depressed since it’s OVER and making it my life goal to get everybody else I know to watch it.
. . . and everyone, stop talking about the movie! We know it wasn’t the greatest, but maybe Avatar just wasn’t meant to be translated to “real people”, and M. Night. Shymalan (I have no idea how to spell it) might not be the greatest director, but at least he’s a fan. Besides, what does complaining do?

I hate to say it, but Nick seemed to remove most of the full episodes. A majority of them are only clips. The only full episodes on the website are the last three: The Southern Raiders, The Ember Island Players, and Sozin’s Comet (All 4 Parts).

actually there have only been a few removed and most are already notified by saying clip only. Also if you go on nick’s website you can watch some episodes with extras, its a fun way to re-watch the series although the water and earth seasons may not be to easy to find with extras.
