Well some people are suspicious of Melina because she was kind of rude and insensitive at dinner, you know who else was like that, Suyin Befong and she wasn’t villain, granted half the fandom thought she was, though she was largely responsible for creating a villain but that is another story.

I think Maliq is hiding some shady stuff, I am thinking something happened to Maliq and Melina’s parents and the SWT has something to do with it, and whoever was responsible got away with it, and he is bitter about that. Maliq gives me that Hiroshi Sato vibe.

I think Sokka took great offense to Gilak calling the Northern tribe cowards, remember his first love was the princess of the NWT, so that is a sensitive subject to him.

I think if this is settled peacefully and perhaps this is like The Promise in which there is no villain, but I don’t know, Gilak seems like someone who won’t listen to reason, he seems kind of crazy.
