Sorry if your question was not asked, he only had so much time to talk so I fit in as many as I could.

Are there spoilers in this interview, Morgan? I haven’t read The Search yet.

Not really, 1 question hints at a spoiler, but we never outright say what it is.
Another mentions a character who appears on the Back cover of the book, but nothing is spoiled.

Great Job Morgan! I listened to this at work today just had my headphones in and told everyone to leave me alone. It was too good, I was very surprised that Gene was so open and dropped quite a few “read between the lines” easter eggs for us, super cool guy, and can’t wait to cut threw this comic inch by inch.

That was a great interview. Thank’s a lot for doing it. It was great to hear Gene’s thoughts on Avatar and to find out he such a big fan of the show. Regardless of what anyone says about the story they definitely found a great guy to write the comics who is actually likes and knows about the show.

The reason Gene was contacted by Dark Horse was because of a short comic Gene did to show his dislike of the movie’s casting decisions, an editor at Dark Horse saw this comic and had read his other work and offered him the chance to do Avatar comics.
So we only have him on board because the movie exists and had odd casting
